David W. Bowler joined our pastoral staff in April 1992 after serving as pastor of Eastbourne Bible Baptist Church in Scarborough, Ontario. He served as a church planter and senior pastor for sixteen years before accepting Dr. Baker’s invitation to assist in the ministry at FaithWay Baptist Church. Pastor Bowler and his wife Robin have four grown children and two granddaughters.
Their oldest daughter Elisabeth is married to Pastor David Wiebe. They are preparing to establish a new independent Baptist church in Maple, Ontario. They served on the pastoral staff at Greater Vancouver Baptist Church for five years prior to becoming church planters in Ontario. The Wiebes are both graduates of FaithWay Baptist College of Canada.
Their second daughter Rachel is involved in the Sunday school and music ministry at FaithWay Baptist Church. She teaches at Whitefield Christian Academy in Toronto. She is a graduate of FaithWay Baptist College of Canada.
Matthew is the third born and he and his wife Christi-An are actively involved in the ministry at FaithWay Baptist Church. Matt graduated in 2007 from FaithWay Baptist College of Canada and Christi-An is currently in her junior year. They are praying about their future ministry for the Lord.
Bethany is the youngest of the Bowler children and she is a sophomore at FaithWay Baptist College of Canada.
